Finify was an AI finance chatbot powered by Python, integrating live market data and SEC-approved APIs. The system used multi-agent architecture to deliver real-time financial intelligence.
Live crypto and stock pricing with real-time financials via NASDAQ-licensed data feeds.
Fundamental metrics and technical indicators including SMA, moving averages, and custom screening filters.
Integrated Google search and API-driven news aggregation for real-time finance and current events coverage.
Direct retrieval of 8-K, 10-K, and other SEC documents for company research and due diligence.
Advanced filtering and screening functionality to identify stocks matching custom criteria.
Dynamic price charts and visual data displays for portfolio analysis and market trend identification.
Code available upon request.
The roadmap included scaling Finify from a consumer tool into an enterprise-grade financial intelligence platform.
Following the Investors' Conference, international developers broke contract, and the combination of capital constraints and developer shortage led to the project's dissolution. Despite this, the experience validated the core thesis: AI-powered financial agents were viable products — a thesis the industry has since confirmed at scale. The prompt engineering and multi-agent techniques pioneered in Finify are now standard practice across the industry.
